The Post Production Procress
All 3D work was created in Side Effects Houdini, and composited in Nuke. In order to keep the render times down, everything was rendered with Takes, Houdini’s render layer system. The individual layers were then composited in Nuke. Extensive use of Alembic Packed Primitives helped in both keeping the scene files lean, maximizing disk space, and helping the rendering pipeline with it’s disk based approach.
